will auto mower work with my uneven lawn?
yes, the auto mower can handle slopes up to 35 degree incline. it will not scalp hills like traditional mowers. small deep holes may cause the auto mower to get stuck so it's important to fill the holes before installing the mower.
is my lawn too large for auto mower?
currently the largest auto mower, the 450x, is designed to cut up to 1 and 1/4 acre, though that does vary with the complexity of your yard. additional auto mowers can work together to tackle larger or more complex properties.
Does it take a lot of time to own and operate an auto mower?
No, Husqvarna's auto mower is very simple to operate. once installed, it automatically ensures that your lawn is well cut, without any involvement from your side. whether you are home or away your lawn will always remain at the desired height, you'll never have to worry about mowing again.
can I install the auto mower myself?
yes, you can install the auto mower yourself. on more complex yards with areas such as trees, flowers, bushes, rocks, or terraces you may wish to have your auto mower installed by our professional installation team.

does the boundary wire have to be buried?
no, though you will wish to cut the grass very short in the area in which the wire is to be place. within a few weeks your grass will cover the wire and you will no longer be able to see it.
is auto mower noisy?
No, the sound level of the auto mower is almost non-existent. the only real sound the auto mower is the sound of the grass being cut by the blades. the auto mower can work around the clock without bothering you or your neighbors.
will I still need a traditional lawn mower?
for most lawns, no. however, very complex lawns may require cutting of areas not suitable for the auto mower the traditional way. Also, the auto mower is not capable of edging or trimming along the edges of your lawn. for this you will need a traditional trimmer and/or edger.
what effect does the auto mower have on the environment? is it really a green product?
since auto mower runs on rechargeable batteries, there are no emissions generated by the mower. energy consumption is very low as well. the energy costs vary depending on the size of your lawn, but are typically only around $10 to $50 per mowing season for the electricity consumed.
how does auto mower help my allergies?
since you don't need to be present when the auto mower is cutting your lawn, you wont be near any plant allergens when the grass is being cut. also the auto mower does not stir up lots of dust like traditional mowers.
can the auto mower detect objects such as clothes or toys lying on the lawn?
no. its up to you to keep the lawn surface free of objects. any object small enough for auto mower to pass over may be damaged, as well as cause damage to the mowers blades. however by design the auto mower's blades will rotate away from hard objects minimizing damage to both.
will auto mower cut in the rain?
yes. auto mower is designed to handle wet conditions. however, it is recommended that you bring the mower inside during extreme weather conditions.
what are the benefits of mowing the lawn in random patterns?
By mowing your lawn in a seemingly random pattern and various directions, you will get a carpet-like lawn. It has also proven to be the most reliable way to cover the whole lawn, leaving no or little uncut grass.
can children play on the lawn when auto mower is working?
Even though Auto mower operates on low power, you can still cut your fingers or toes if they come into contact with the cutting blade. A built-in safety feature means the blade will automatically stop if the mower is lifted up or turned over. The distance between the outer body and the blade tip is also extra-long to avoid feet or hands from accidentally reaching the blades. For safety reasons, we recommend turning off mower when small children are playing on the lawn.
is auto mower potentially dangerous to dogs or cats?
No. Our experience shows that pets will usually respect the Auto mower and leave it alone. The mower is equipped with sensors so that when it runs into an object such as pets, it will reverse itself and chooses another direction to mow. If it does collide with a pet, the contact is very light and unlikely to cause any harm.
what is the lifetime of the battery?
This depends on the mowing area and running time of the mower. If you run your Auto mower 6 months a year on an area of 8,600 sqft, your battery will last 5-7 years. In order to save your battery, you should set the timer according to the size of your lawn. During the dry season you can easily reduce the running time without losing performance.
what is the life time of the blades?
The life of the blades depends on the type of soil and grass. Typically, the life is 1-2 months for .25 acre mowing area. The lightweight blades are super easy to replace. You can replace them in five minutes using a regular screwdriver. we have maintenance plans available as well.
do I need to store my auto mower inside during the winter?
Only if you don't need to mow in the winter. The best time to bring it in is once the grass stops growing or after the first heavy frost. Remember to always bring it in before ice and snow. Before putting the Auto mower away for the winter, it should be cleaned, wiped dry and then stored in dry frost-free place. We also recommend that the charging station be stored indoors over the winter. The loop wire installation can remain in the lawn without any problems.
what if my auto mower is stolen?
Auto mower has several theft protection systems that may be activated. The mower can not be used without the personal PIN code. The installation lock prevents it from functioning on any other installation other than your own. The time lock requests your four-digit PIN to be entered at an interval decided by yourself. The alarm requires the PIN code to be entered when Auto mower is stopped – or an audio alarm will go off. All auto mowers come equipped with gps tracking. the system works similar to that of a cell phone or tablet. if an auto mower is taken from your property you will receive an alert through your cell phone. if stolen you can track it and notify Law enforcement to it's location.
